The following images summarize the results of the City of Portland, Bureau of Licenses' in-depth comparisons between the available in-car digital security camera systems: Silent Witness™, ImageSync™, Winsnap™, and TaxiCam™. When the City of Portland mandated that all cabs be fitted with a camera, they held to a high standard of image quality in a variety of typical conditions. As there had been no extensive, independent studies on these products, the Bureau conducted its own tests, and the conclusion was clear: TaxiCam™ came out on top, outperforming the best of the competition by almost 43 percent*!
