Event-Activated Recording for Mobile Applications
The VerifEye 4W system records continuous digital video and GPS location/time data and stores it in a solid-state memory. On the occurrence of an event trigger, the data recorded prior to and following the trigger is saved and may be reviewed later. Event triggers can include:
- Excessive g-force readings
- Alarm activation
- Excessive speed
- Receiving a specially coded radio or cellular transmission
- External safety devices such as an electronic driver fatigue monitor or intrusion alarm
